Ingredients
  

For the Tacos
  • 1 lb white fish (tilapia, mahi mahi, cod, etc.) Choose fresh or high-quality frozen
  • 8 pieces taco shells Use corn taco shells for gluten-free option
  • 2 cups cabbage, shredded
  • 1/2 cup cilantro, chopped
  • 1 juiced lime
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil Use a light spray of cooking oil for a lighter version

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Drizzle olive oil over the fish and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  3. Place the seasoned fish in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  4. Cook for 10-12 minutes, until fish is opaque and flakes easily.
  5. In a bowl, mix shredded cabbage, chopped cilantro, lime juice, salt, and pepper to prepare the slaw.
Assembling
  1. Fill each taco shell with pieces of fish and top with the cilantro lime slaw.
  2. Serve immediately for optimal taste and texture.

Notes

Store leftover fish tacos in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days. To prevent sogginess, store fish and slaw separately. Reheat the fish in the air fryer at 350°F (175°C) for about 5 minutes.
